removing decals?

The decals on my Miele are all ripped up so i've decided to take them off and just have a bare frame. I can take them off pretty easily but they leave a sticky residue. Is there anyway to take this residue off? I've tried goof-off but that has only spread the residue around instead of removing it. Is there a better way/product i can use to take this off?

Yeah... Goo Gone. Might take a few passes, but it should work - and your frame will smell like oranges, or at least a reasonable chemical facsimile.

Da Kine is 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner available at automotive paint supply stores. Works great for all kinds of sticky stuff removal.

I'd fifth the goo gone, but no-ones mentioned WD40 which woks great for dissolving adhesive in a pinch.
