rivet holes in head tube
I bought a 1989 Raleigh Pursuit this week.

I'm trying to decide what to do with it. Just ride it, convert to SS, or move over the components from my mid 1970's Grand Prix. The Grand Prix is too big for me, but the components look to be better quality than the ones on the Pursuit.
It is missing the Raleigh headtube badge. There are two small holes in the headtube where the rivets used to be. Should I just leave them alone? Any risk of water leaking in and damaging the steerer bearings?

Yeah, if you ride it in many downpours, you should seal 'em up with bathtub caulk or something. Or try rivets after you reapply a badge to the headtube. They aren't much at an astute LBS or on eBay. Good luck.
