Vintage ride in Jersey

There's a member here on the forums- Citoyen du Monde. He contacted me because he has a few vintage bikes, and he also has a love for vintage bike rides. This weekend, he's arranging for a vintage bike ride. So if anyone wants to bring their vintage bikes to New Jersey on Saturday, he'd be happy to have folks join him. It sounds like a good time.

If you're looking for vintage swag, it also may be a good idea to bring stuff to swap out. I'd bet the farm that there's probably going to be a chance to grab some vintage, hard to get stuff. :)

PM me or Citoyen if you're interested.

Curious. Dnalsaam is also hosting a vintage ride in south Jersey on Saturday. Unfortunately, I'm working. :(

KB, Citoyen

why not just post the details here and avoid the whole PM thing?
It's not like there are a whole lot of vintage rides going on that
will clog up the boards.

Yeah, post the details! I'd be interested, depending on where in Jersey...

Really, I don't know much about the ride, unfortunately. I'll give him a call.

The ride will need to be put off for two weeks due to illness in my family (namely me!). So instead of Saturday this week, the ride will take place on Saturday the 29th. The meeting point will be at my home in Moorestown, NJ at 10 AM. We'll ride about 25-30 miles and then have a chance to sit around and admire and discuss bikes. Moorestown is just across the Delaware river from Philadelphia. I am located less than 5 minutes away from the New Jersey Turnpike exit 4, so the ride start can readily be reached if you are driving up from Delaware, Maryland etc. or down from NYC or Northern NJ. If you are coming over from Philadelphia, you can also take NJ transit (with bike!) from downtown. I also have a number of bikes that I can lend to those having difficulty bringing their own. You can also feel free to try out my Bianchi Paris Roubaix bike from the 50's, my George Longstaff trike or even one of my tandems (one set up with kiddie cranks)
