Bluemels mounting hardware

I’ve recently found a pair of Bluemels Popular fenders that I hope to use on a vintage Clubman style bike. Unfortunately, the mounting hardware was not included. Does anyone know if contemporary hardware (SKS, etc.) can be readily adapted? I’m keeping my eye out for original hardware but I suspect it will take a while.

Thanks,
Alan

P.S. I’ve posted this in both Bicycle Mechanics and Classic & Vintage

Alan, I've bought the hardware from this eBay seller: http://cgi.ebay.com/NOS-BLUEMELS-STA...QQcmdZViewItem

About $14 or $15 shipped from Cyprus. Good quality stuff.

Neal,
Thanks for pointing this out. Do you have any experience with the straight stays vs. the V-stays? I'm trying to decide if I should wait a bit and see if any v-stays turn up or just go ahead with the straight ones.

Regards,
Alan

Alan, I have both straight and v-stays on bluemels mudguards, and both seem to work fine. The straight stays come in alloy, which I haven't seen in the v-stays (galvanized steel). The straight ones also give you a bit more adjustability, which can come in handy if you're installing with tight clearance.

I am using SKS hardware with my Bluemels Club Sports.
