Around what year was this bike made ?

All the references I have to this model are from the mid-1980s, but it could extend beyong that. If you post the serial number, I may be able to identify the year, provided it is not a subcontracted frame.

A list of original components, including their date codes, may also help, but I think T-Mar has it pegged about right (as usual).
