I hope this qualifies..... (sorry for the poor quality, I'm still learning my way around the digital world).
I intend to pull some more from my garage rafters to clean and photograph in future months.

Oh man, I want an Orly!!! That's a gamer term these days, it means "Oh, really?"
Here's how gamers think:
Oh, Really? -> oh rly? -> o rly -> orly?

My Wife rides a Peugeot Mixte as a "grocery getter/beater" and its a great little bike. I ride it often to just go to the local hardware store or whatever.

I have a 1986 Univega Arrow Pace mixte, currently getting new tires and other stuff, I'll post a photo when I install everything. I got it for just $15, although in total I think it will cost about $150 after I upgrade certain things in the future (already replaced a wheel).
Interesting to see that there are other guys, even those who could spend the cash to buy a regular frame, on mixte frames! I must say that the nonexistant top tube is pretty comfy, and that 3 sets of stays puts my mind at ease that this 20 year old bike won't fall apart.

Cool! And you can tell people Louison Bobet was Lorena Bobbett's first husband, and this is what he had to ride after she got through with him.

Here's a Super Course mixte that I built as a donation for a silent auction fundraiser.

Can those mattress-style saddles be mounted on micro-adjust type seat posts?

You people make me tired!
I've been in full 'covet' mode the whole time I've been reading this thread. Those are some lovely bikes. All I've got is an '80 Centurion Le Mans (no pics yet) *snif*

You know, I'm starting to think that we all love our mixtes enough that perhaps this should become a sticky...how about it, mods?

It's drying off after being out in the rain.
And no, the saddle doesn't slope down nearly as much as it would appear from the angle of the photo.

Modern firearm deer hunting starts October 14 here in Washington. But I don't think that particular model is a mixte, Blue Order.

On the other hand, my mixte is a Centurion.
You do realize that this mixte is the one on which you aided and abetted?

And the other day, I came across that army bike with a machine gun mounted, and thought of your other interest, so when I saw your mixte pic, I had to post a link.
