rema glue v. velox glue

is there a difference. i would rather not lug around the extra large tube of glue that comes in a velox patch kit. instead i would like to replace it with the smaller tube of glue that comes in a rema patch kit. is there any reason why i should lug around the large tube for emergency tubular repairs?
