longer steel seatpost?

I've got a 70s raleigh 3 speed that's a great ride, except I feel the seat is just a touch too low for me. I've already got it raised over the safety margin (just a touch). ANyone know where I can get a longer post. I'm not bothered if it's modern day (I'd use alu, though I would like something steel).

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

You should be able to order a 16" Steel seatpost from your LBS pretty cheaply. It's not that hard an item to find.

BikePartsUSA sells chromed steel 1" diamter/15" long seatposts for cheap: https://www.bikepartsusa.com/product_...&p=01%2D127665. They also usually carry Pyramid brand alloy posts in that size.
