Unusual size, not bad price.

https://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/bik/685019553.html

1978 Raleigh Super Course built of Reynolds 531 tubing. It has horizontal dropouts and was hand built at the Raleigh specialty builder Carlton in Worksop, England. The red paint is faded but the bike is free of dents or rust. The serial number can be verified on Sheldon Brown's site through Retro Raleighs. https://sheldonbrown.com/retroraleigh...talog-1978.pdf . The frame is all English standard thread as used by the Japanese and includes the bottom bracket.

It is not very often that I see a bike that is too big for me, but this Nishiki Olympic is.

Had my hopes up when I saw this not in a cycling category, but only Listed in category: Everything Else > Other

Unfortunately, it lacked a low starting price (and its too small for me).

There is a bike on Craiglist near D.C., a 70's or 80's Derosa, that has been damaged, asking price is $300 and the bike supposedly has Record components. I am getting pictures of the components sometime tomorrow. Here is the link to the ad.....

70's Super Corsa in West Lafayette. Not mine, but if anyone is nearby....I don't have the budget or the room for it, so I might as well pass this along

it does.. and if you were motivated to strip it down and sell it all via ebay you'd probably make your money back and then some..

but $300 for an unrideable bike does not seem like a good deal !

It's odd that he would misspell Loudoun County, Virginia, but it's typical for people in the DC area to have area codes from other locales, especially on cell phones.

Talked to the seller yesterday - he wants 400 for it. Sounds in great shape but I can't see paying that much.
