Bicycle chain identification.
Is there an easy way to determine what kind of chain that a chain is?
I'm going to be looking through a bunch of unpackaged chains and want one for my 12 speed or my 10 speed. Thanks! |
Sheldon Brown's site seems to be down, but here is a wiki article:
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Bicycle...ns/Chain_sizes Basically, yfor your bike, anything with a 3/32" internal width would work well. This basically means anything except for single speeed chains (1/8" internal width)... but even they might work for you, just not as well. |

I'll say that the various stuff has no value, so that my money can go to tools. |
