panasonic help
 

i have a panasonic frame and i'm trying to figure out what year it was made.

there are two numbers stamped on the frame:
under the bottom bracket is 0D17031
and stamped onto the little 'panasonic' metal plate on the headtube is 2040

i've hunted around online for information but haven't found anything.
can anybody help me out?
