Help ID my bike

I just acquired an old Peugeot from a friend and I'm wondering what year it is and what it would be worth (not that I'm planning on selling). He says it's somewhere around 1986-88 but he wasn’t sure.

It's a 12 speed and it says PB9 on the side. The serial number on the bike is 8H50855 if that helps.

Here’s a picture:

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hey Creamer,

Since you're having troubles with the pictures, maybe you can describe it in a little more detail. Is there any chrome on the bike? Is there a sticker that tells what kind of tubing? What kind of derailleurs does it have? Does the bike have a rear derailleur that hooks over the rear axle? What kind of brakes and brake levers? That sort of stuff can give some clues.

With Peugeots, the serial number is of nearly no use in providing either date or identification. :(

I'll try the picutre again...
