Would anyone here sell me a bullhorn bar?
Looking for a bullhorn bar for my Le Tour project, but everything seems to be out of my price range. Just need a decent set, doesn't have to be high dollar alloy or anything. I prefer natural silver, but anything is okay. Standard 25.4 size.,,,,BD
I have a few bars I could flop and chop, but I hate destroying a set of vintage drop bars. It also takes away a hand position once flipped. |
You can't get better than Nashbar--oversized under $20 or reg for under $13

Hmm, what size clamp does an 80's Cinelli stem have? I can't use the wing type with a one piece stem.,,,,BD

Anyone know what size Cinelli's stems were in the 80's?
|
26.4mm through the mid-90's.
|
just flip and hack-saw your drop bars.
|
So I can shim it I guess. Cool. My point was to not destroy the few sets of vintage alloy drop bars
I have. The hand hold on the sides is not quite long enough either for my taste. I kind of wanted to try a real set for once. Thanks avenan for the info!!!!,,,,BD |
Got a nashbar one for 10$ last fall, just took the original stem and stuck a flathead screwdriver in between where the clamp bolt was and spread it out, worked fine since for months.
|
Well supposedly my stem is 26.4, and the bars are 26.0. If I do anything, it will be shimming, not opening the stem up.,,,,BD
