Campagnolo identifying marks

I don't get to see many Campagnolo parts around here. In fact, I had never run by any (and I've got a garage full of Fujis, Raleighs, U-name-it 60's-80's road bikes) in my garage sale/thrift shopping.

I just found a nice Campagnolo wheelset with Lambda Strada rear and Omega front rims. I haven't a clue about the hubs other than the Campy logo and skewers.

Are there any sites to identify Campy parts?

Campagnolo in the "middle" 80's like 1986 onward are not as that to identify for me, these are second tier or below. The velo-retro timeline is good, but I do not think it has images. ou could order a cataloge reprint or go to campyonly.com and download a dpf of one or two of the later 80's catalogs.

Note the hub bodies on many of them look similar, its the details such as dustcaps and skewers that help nail the model level down.

Unfortunately on the hub shown, the guy who rebuilt the wheel did not pay attention to orginal spoke lacing direction, or did not want to.

they look like chorus/athena.

Thanks!

I was wondering if they weren't Athena or Mirage.

Someone had stuck them onto an 80ish Raleigh record. I didn't want the frame, but I coveted the wheels and the Suntour XC pro pedals. 40 bucks seemed fair enough.

I've relaced hubs this same way (reversing past direction). Am I doing it wrong?

Why reverse? There was a time that Campagnolo would not warranty a hub with broken out flanges IF it had been relaced two different ways.
