Those are 7 speed RSX levers...
The model number 712 implies that it came equipped with a 6 speed gruppo, not 7 (which is odd for a bike of this level in this model year anyway). This is definitely a bit odd...obviously someone could have modified the bike at some point, but the steel frame and model number just doesn't match up to the catalog. |
Fanculito, are you in the US? The catalogs that are online, from which we get most of our information about models and specific years, are US/Nor Am market, and it's quite possible Miyata had somewhat different models/specs for other markets.

I have a Miyata Seven Twelve in good condition. Anyone know how much it is worth? Please help.
Thanks |
I´ve finally got a 712 and just like the threadstarter it has RSX100 7 speed components and have the same color. It also have a sticker with 100 down by the chain. Guess it also has to be a -90 or -91?
