Scott Mathauser 'C' brake pads

Anyone know a source for these? Rivendell had them on their site, and i tried to buy a bunch of sets, but they were actually sold out. Any ideas?

How about KoolStop? Bike Tools Etc

They are out of black, but have salmon. Didn't KoolStop get Scott's formula?

EDIT: From all the info I have seen, Mathauser pads are made by Kool Stop.

I suspect that the OP is talking about the Mathauser pad with holders, since that's what Rivendell was selling. I would only buy from Bananabrain if I was so deperate for a part that I didn't mind paying way too much for it. Harris has the Koolstop pads for Campy NR/SR. I just bought a couple of sets.

Speaking of Bananabrain, take a look at the beautiful Raleigh Competition frame he has on eBay right now!

I think he is actually a she, and I would never buy from he or she ever again. No response to emails when the item wasn't sent, only got it after filing a complaint with Ebay, then got a lame excuse. Banana Brain is the only negative I have ever left.

It's kind of funny, there was time when those pads were sold in holders from a cardboard backing display.
There were 10 pairs per card and sold for about $6/pair. I would buy those, take them out of the stock holders and slide them into the Campy holders. I still have 3 pairs done that way. All the rest have the finned Matthauser pads. 7 bikes with Matthauser pads..hmmm.

Yeah, you can find them on ebay now and then, I'm always looking for sets with the holders, great shoes.

As far as banana brain, it's a man and wife, and they scour the globle to find this NOS stuff, so its a BUSINESS. If they have what I need and the price is ok, I buy, they've always come through, and the stuff is NEW. I've gotten some things I'd been looking YEARS for, so, considering. Yeah, they're not good at answering questions. But buy something on ebay, it comes and it's what they say.
