Which will be done first?

As I was responding to a message from Cycletoine a question occurred to me...

Which one will be on the road first, Cycletoine's Corky or Rad's Tete?

This is for entertainment only, please no wagering. :D

Oh man I know nothing about rad's Tete has it been posted on another forum? There is one last hurdle on the road to corky's completion. The intricate seahorse head and seat tube decals... I have my fingers crossed that these will come through any day now.

Edit: The groupo is complete aside from a wee bit of shineing, including a 1st generation/variation Nuovo record derailleur set, just waiting for the frame and I can start building, still have some wheel maintenance to do though.

Rad's Tete shows up in discussions occasionally in the Road Forum... When I rode the Covered Bridges Metric in Lancaster last August, at dinner the night before, one of the other forum members asked a question about whether the Tete would ever be painted... So far, no news of the Tete, so I am wondering if the same question will arise this year. :D

How about Little Darwin getting photos of the exquisite purple WBC on his Centurion?

I am owing a few pics.

My Centurion with my nifty purple cage, and I also need to build up my Corvette with the rims I bought from New Dharma...

Since I have decided to ride the Corvette as is (other than the rims and general cleaning/maintenance) the rims will be the highlight. :D

I'll get up a picture of the Centurion within the next week or two...

At the rate I'm going, you both may beat out John E.'s Capo #2. :)

Corky - no doubt.

Rad's Tete de Course is now in its 3rd year, ie in paint for 24+ months. It was becoming a legendary wait when I JOINED bikeforums. Now people are wanting to put in applications for Rad's sainthood as calm he has been through this long of a wait.

going to put my Serotta in as a write in entry for being finished between these other two. I have enough parts still to be collected that I will likely not be road ready on that bike till after the Corky is done.

I don't even know the story behind the Corky, but I know it'll beat the Tete.

I'll be disappointed when Rad's Tete is finally done, it's a good excuse to check the forums. :)

I voted Corky all the way, barring an act of God.
