A pic along with a description of the type of tape and type of shellac would be great.

more info please: you want to see blue cloth tape with (1) clear or (2) amber shellac over it? Or do you want to see shellac, with blue tinting dye added, applied over (___) colored cloth tape?

Sorry. Clear or amber shellac over blue cloth tape.

Cloth tape and clear shellac from velo orange. About 8 coats - it really darkened up. Sorry, but my better pictures are on my home system.

Excellent. Just what I needed. It looks like I might want to go with lighter blue tape to get the color match I'm looking for (if I decide to do this).
