Barcon supply drying up?

I've been putting barcons on all of my bikes and even a couple sets for friends. It seems I'm not the only one, as the price of Suntour ratchets seems to be in the low 30's lately.

I saw that Rivendell had some adaptor pods that let you add your own DT shifters.

Unfortunately the mint Suntour power ratchets I have will need a longer mounting bolt (I'm working on it) but they don't feel bad at all with these friction Suntours. The longer levers seem to help make up for the lack of a ratchet.

I just bought a set for $31 a week or two ago (included a cable stop too). Most of the ones I was watching on Ebay for the past few months were going for $35+.

Rivendell makes and sells its own version, which they say are copies of the "best" Sun Tour shifters, along with the adapters and cables needed to install as bar-end shifters.

I think I'm going to spring for those ratcheting Rivendell shifters. They look nice and sleek. I can mount them in the pods I've already received.

Then again, Dekalb's Ultegra link is interesting. 58 bucks seems reasonable.
