Pinarello Treviso stem/sizing

Howdy,

I have a mid-eighties-ish Pinarello, which I believe to be a Treviso, and I'm wanting to change the stem.
When I bought it used, around 8 years ago, it had a Syncros stem on it; still does. I am wanting to get a quill, or something that looks a little more 'classic', but don't really know what size stem to get.

The headset has Campy engraved on it, and although the components are mix-and-match, the group seems to be primarily Nuovo Record; whether this is relevant or not, I don't know. Wondering if anyone can help, or if there is a simple answer... In the end, I suppose I could pull the stem out and measure, but when you're talking mm, I wouldn't want to screw up.

thanks!

the quill should be 22.2 where it goes into the steering column

That is super fast, and much appreciated.

Cinelli (1-A or similar model) or ttt (thats triple t) quill stems would work great (and they are Italian). Most all quality stems other than some older French models should fit (22.2). Main thing is to decide how much horizontal "reach" you want (varies a lot, from like 80mm or even less up to 200mm) as well as vertical adjustment (some of these stems are pretty short).
