rust inside of tubes

i recently acquired a vintage frame of an unknown make built with some sort of lightweight tubing. it rides real nice, fits great, and is fully chromed, which i've always wanted. when i was taking it apart yesterday, i noticed the inside of the tubes and stays were pretty rusty, and i felt a little bit of pitting.

i want to clear the rust out and spray it with frame saver, cause i love this frame and dont want it to crack, but how can i do it? what would i use, and how would i reach down into the top tube, down tube and stays? is there nothing i can do except ride it till it cracks?

any advice would be much appreciated, i really want to keep riding this frame for a long time.

Fill the tubes with Oxalic Acid (need to plugs holes to make it stay in). It will eat all the interior rust. It may take a couple days if rust is thick or deep. Then give it an interior bath in baking soda to clean out the acid, then you should be good to go on Frame Saver. Oh, the Oxalic Acid should not harm chrome, it is chrome's friend!
