Still raining Gitane GSdL...

Found a third one in as many weeks; a 1971 60cm for $30. New cables and tires, a little elbow grease, and it didn't come out too bad.

It does, but I'm hoping it'll fit somebody else pretty soon.

It's about on a par with an old UO-8, but that 39/52 crankset is a nuisance; 5th gear ain't worth poo.

New tires, oxalic acid, and a fuzzy picture compensate for a multitude of sins.

A GS DeLuxe without chrome fork?

That may be a benefit given the quality of Gitane chrome!

Nice find.
