Mid 80's Razesa
I have Razesa from the mid 80-'s, size is 58cm (I think). Components are mostly Zeus New Racer. Wheels are Wolber New Gentleman. I rode the bike for a few years, since that time it has been sitting in a garage. Less than 1000 miles on it. I pulled it out last year and it is WAY too big for me, I can barely straddle the bike.
I am wondering if anyone has an interest in this bike. I did some basic maintenance on it last summer in hopes of maybe using it but it is just too big. Mostly I want to get rid of it but was directed to this group last year from rec.bicycles.tech. Thought someone here might have a good use for it. I'd also be interested in genreral Razesa info. When I bought the bike, I was told it was good stuff but I think that person was the last person I have met that had heard of Razesa. Thanks DMK |

I've seen a few that I'd call very nice, indeed!
Spanish, built bikes that sold as "Zeus" brand...here's one little link: http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Spain/Razesa.htm I'm sure that a clean and straight example will sell easily. |
I wish I had better pictures but here is mine. I believe mine to be pretty close to the upper echelon of whatever line Razesa would have had as it is made of Columbus SLX tubing with a full 600 groupo (brakes are Superbe) and has some very nice details in the lugs, fork crown and brake bridge. It rides very nicely and is a tight, fast bike. I don't know much about Razesas except that they were highly regarded in Spain and Zues contracted Razesa to make their higher end frames. The company still exists but I guess they are rare in the North American market. Search the "Classics and Vintage Rides" thread, there are a few forum members who own them.
