18 sp. MTB to 10 sp. Road bike
Is it feasible (doable) to take the deore F & R deraileurs off a MTB and istall them on a road bike? I also have the SIS shifters or friction stem shifters available. Has any one done this? Thanks, oglala

Particularly if you use friction shifters, I see no real problem. You do want to check such things as direction of front derailleur cable pull and contour of front derailleur cage.
