Ouch! NOS Campagnolo!

Thankfully I can live happily with old, used stuff...

The front and rear ders seem very fairly priced. It's a lot less than you'd pay for new top end Campy, isn't it?

The owner is attached to those parts and has priced them as such, not way over market, but the brakes are lacking hoods, don't know about the cables, housing and clips, if ALL parts were in the box, then about right, but too much otherwise.

Patent years can make a difference to many for recreation of an old bike...

This is a sale best done locally, the no returns is a turn off unless one can inspect the parts in person, the chains for example, Regina Oro G.S. Corsa chains with the brass outer plates that have the radius/bevels are worth every dollar asked, if the later Oro, with the same side plates as used on the Extra chain, thumbs down.

Most of those prices seem consistent with online store and ebay prices, which (if I was in such an esteemed position) seems fine to me, in that they can be inspected before buying. I'd never buy something off of CL unless it was in person.

I found similar rarefied prices in my search for Zeus stuff to replace the missing brakes & derailleurs on the bike I'm restoring for my son. I did find a good buy on some NOS downtube shifters & also got a nice NOS set of Galli brake levers for cheap. They look somewhat like the older Zeus levers. I have just about decided to use some NOS SunTour Superbe Pro derailleurs that are in my parts drawer so I can get on with the overhaul & build up this bike since it will be a rider, not a showpiece.
