just won this one, pretty similar to the one stolen from me years ago...

What kind of tubing did they use on the early ones? My '59 feels light, sounds butted and takes a 27mm seatpost, but the decals are long gone. It has the same Cyclo dropouts as yours, but the lugs are chrome Capella.

You can see the double-butted tubes, forks and stays 531 decal on the seat tube. Yes, the one I had before was the lightest bike I've ever owned. My seat tube was 26.8, don't know what this one is.

I can see it now, but barely. I need to ask the boss for a new monitor.
