Apparently, there are some real Mirage lovers out there ... this one's over a hundred bucks for the frame and handlebars, with a whole day to go. True, it looks like a nice frame, but still ....

This Mirage also went off very high awhile back...it inspired me to put whitewalls on mine.

If it has nice paint, Motobecane frames can go for high prices. Last year, I was surprised to lose a black & red Mixte frame that my wife wanted me to build up. I put in a bid that I thought would gaurantee a win but was outbid by 2 others. I bid $175 & forget the final $ but it was about $200 despite being just Hi Tension Steel. Don

My Moto Mirage has nice sparkly paint and shiny chrome...;o) I have not finished it's facelift just yet but I'll post some pictures when I do...

The blue one also had a ChrMo frame if my memory is holding up...( my Mirage does)

Perhaps this frame is going higher than usual because of the "includes Brooks saddle"...
