Nishiki Continental ID please

Hey folks. I just picked up this Nishiki Continental for cheap:

http://a662.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...75dfcff405.jpg

Serial #: CC06760

Parts: Tange 2 chromoly frame with canti bosses and some weird sort of lowrider mounts (threaded bolts stick out from fork), Araya 700C black anodised rims w/ Sansin Gyromaster rear hub and "K.K." front hub, Sugino GT triple crank with drilled rings, Suntour Mountech f/d, Suntour ARX r/d (w/ 3 jockey wheels), Suntour Symmetric downtube shifters, Nitto Grand Randonneur bars (wider version), unbranded but nice satin quill stem, Dia Compe Cantis, Shimano levers (w/ dreaded suicide levers), unbranded saddle, Vetta front and rear racks, mismatched ESGE mudguards...

Can anyone give me a year of manufacture?

Thanks....also coming soon to this site is my Nishiki International that I've been working on for the past week...stay tuned...

Cool. I have a 1976 Nishiki International. I'll be interested in seeing how the components differ. I expect yours will be a 12-speed anyway.

The Seral is from about the same period, maybe a year newer. The Seral I've seen were slightly more upscale than the OP's Continental, but similar in many aspects. Nishiki often produced similar models under different model names depending on the market. The Seral was a US model, while the OP's Continental is a Canadian model, designed and imported by Norco.
