Green klein, Seinfeld bike.

Does anyone have one?
It's the bike that appeared in Jerry's apartment on seinfeld for many years, there were a couple of others but that was the main one.

My brother helped someone move and they gave him a Klein Rascal (mid-90's) which is green and has purple alloy accents. It is beautiful and looks brand new.

believe it, it just worked out that way. My racing bike got a comp paint job from Klein back in the early '90's, and it came back in that color. I kind of liked it, because it wasn't a stock paint job...the others just showed up in the same color, both from eBay. I really like the Klein Quantum Chorus...it is the bike i pull down whenever I don't have a particular ride in mind.

Is this the one? Here is the metallic teal green Klein Rascal I have that BlankCrows mentioned. I helped my wife's boss move and since he has a newer Moots cross bike he passed this along to me! I'm a lucky guy! 1993 I think. Full Shimano Deore XT components and purple alloy bling. It had one Ringle water bottle cage on it and I picked up another for it. It's in Mint like new condition. It has period Panaracer Smoke tires on it but I've picked up some original Klein Death Grip tires to make in %100 stock like when it was sold.

I'm pretty sure Jerry never rode that bike. He went everywhere in cabs even though he had a car... He always kept his apartment to spotless he must have taken it down to dust it from time to time. I bet it's in almost new condition.

There was also a lot of Specialized product placement, specifically the bike shop that the gang would often walk by with a Red Rockhopper in the window.

It used to be prominently displayed in the background where you could see the "KLEIN" lettering; an accident, I am sure

Also, if you look closely in the "Mulva" episode, the fork is installed backwards.

Thanks Cyclotoine. The only thing I want to do with it is try to rebuild the front Rock Shox Mag 21 shock. That might be a challenge though. Shop manager at the local LBS says he has the tools to do it in his personal collection but I've got to find some new seals and parts as nothing is available through normal channels any more. He also said I should just hang it on the wall as it still looks brand new and is collectible. The Klein Command Control headset / stem and the round to square chainstays are pretty cool looking and unique to Kleins and what I like about it. Can't see it in the photo very well but the spoke nipples are purple anodized too. When I get the Klein Death Grip tires on it I'll post it in the MTB forums to let the folks over there have a look.

I read somewhere once about why he had it in his apartment, even though he never rode it. Can't remember now, of course.

Probably you read that it was Michael (Kramer) Richard's real personal bike.

I read an interview on the web with Michael Richards and they were talking about who took what show props when the show ended. He said he regretted not taking the "Klein in the Hall".

I believe there was a Cannondale hanging there in a few early episodes.

I've not seen many episodes of "Seinfeld." However, I do recall the Cannondale. It was blue and silver, if I remember correctly; and there was something peculiar about the frame, as well. Although the setting of the program purports to be New York, I assume that the bike shop with the Specialized was an actual store in L.A. Does anyone know it?
