Motobecane Profil 2 seatpost clamp

A friend recently received a Motobecane Profil 2, an unusual road frame with elliptical, roughly teardrop-shaped tubes. The seat tube uses a clamp instead of just a binder bolt, and of course the clamp is missing. Anybody have one laying around I could buy/trade for/just get for free, or any possible workarounds that come to mind?

I thought they used an allen set screw? Maybe an earlier model I am thinking of?

We realized last night that the weird looking pump mount on the seat tube is actually the 'clamp', the allen set screw CV-6 mentions. Unfortunately, the hole for it is just drilled through, instead of having some kind of braze-on, and the metal around the hole has deformed so badly that it's useless now. Although with the hose clamp ....

Er, I guess it's time to start stripping the bike for parts.

So the bike is complete? (Save the seatpost hardware) How about some info on how it is equipped? I have seen frame only on the Bay and the info I had was they had lower end Shimano aero. I might consider buying it complete or just the frame. Drop me a PM.
