recuring nightmare

Anyone else have trouble getting over the bike you regret not buying? I didn't buy a Miyata 615 because I thought the $100 price was too high for a bike with two flat tires for sale by an individual out of their garage. I offered $80, but she wouldn't take it. I walked away.

I didn't bid high enough on an HR Bates, which went for £5 more than my top bid, and was a bargain at that price. I also bailed out of an auction for an Ernie Clements in my size, one of the original ones from before he started Falcon. When will I ever see one of those again? Still, I have my health, I shouldn't complain.

Sammy, we all saw your wedding photos. You got nothing to complain about brother! :)

squeakywheel, I feel your pain. I passed on a Shogun touring bike with full Shimano 600 arabesque triple and canti brakes for $90. All it needed was grease and bar tape. AARG!

My recurring nightmare is not being able to find deals like that!

not me, I normally buy now and then regret it later :P Especially since half the bikes I have aren't even built up yet :D
