Beautiful job. Did you use the #1108 brush enamel or the #1208 rattlecan? I've got an opaque blue Paramount that needs a little of the same treatment.
I used a mixture of #1111 and #1108 brush enamel, applied to the small chips with a toothpick. Tedious and slow, but at least Opaque Blue is forgiving!

Hey, you have to start somewhere! Besides, that is my GB stem with the recessed allen bolt. I paid 25 cents for it (with a set of bars and barcons) at a swap meet and I am going to use it! :D
The reason I used it is based on the measurements she was comfortable with on her old Raleigh. It had more upright ATB bars. I tried to maintain the distance she had before. Nothing is cast in stone, or wrapped in tape, so change is both possible and possibly good!
