Does anyone know anything about this Bridgestone Bike?

I just bought it and the previous owner knew nothing about the history of the bike. I have searched the net all morning and havnt found one thing.

The gentleman that I bought it from lives in Amish country as well, in northern Indiana.

Thank you for the link, I sent them an e-mail.

So far I have found that Bridgestone made bikes for Schwinn back in the day, but I don't know if this is another bike with the Bridgestone logos slapped on there or the real deal.

Looks like a late 1960s Bridgestone "Sport".
You'll find info on them in our on-line archives.

The only references to Bridgestone Sport bikes were of the motorcycle and road touring kind. Do you know of any other facts about the bike so that I can try to narrow my search?
