CL snag. Appeared Sat night, called and set up appointment. If it was a Super Corsa, I was going to buy it even if it was not my size. Figured I could flip it. Well...it is my size. Seller said it was part of a collection, so I had visions of an immaculate SC. NOT. But the Campy is all there. The Rally RD is a bit strange and the FD has been replaced, but it has potential. It won't be touched for three weeks as I go on the road to work tomorrow. The Brooks is about as dry as I have ever seen a saddle and still not tearing. Are the numbers on the Rally gear ranges?

Nice. Very nice. A worthy project. Pump up them tires if you take it out.

Should be a fun project.

CL was my friend this week as well. Mind sharing what you paid?

My grandfolks have Campy Rally rd's on all their bikes. I believe they were designed to run lower gears for touring.

Nice find, and a good project! I'm sure you'll bring it back to its former glory, and I bet you'll like the ride, too. Yes, that is the maximum gear range (as Campy saw it) for the Rally: 13-36 rear cluster, 36/54 front chainrings.
PS: If you don't want that (PIVO?) stem, PM me as I have a friend who needs one, he might have a stem to trade for it, too.

Check your PMs.

It will get redone. By doing so, I will have pretty much the most common French top of the line covered:
  • Gitane Super Corsa
  • LeJeune Champ du Monde (two)
  • Motobecane Champion Team
  • Peugeot PX-10

I already emailed Mike about decals.

I'm glad to see a C&Ver got that, also glad to see it's not my size since I didn't catch it!
