Ran across these old pics:
1. Early pics of my Expedition Touring. Now has a new longer stem, replacement levers and a Specialized logo rack.
2. Centurion Pro Tour, my main, Winter rain bike until I retired.(Sold) I had good lighting for dark, country roads. The Aerox crank was a beauty, but 1 arm got bent/straightened after a fall on ice. (Drive line got a weekly clean)
3. Motobecane Grand Touring.(Sold) Nice looking, would have kept save for the ugly, plastic logo glued to top tube. I put its triple crank and brake calipers on my Grand Jubile and "Specialized" logo rack is on the Expedition. Don

Ahh, a Schwinn Voyageur SP, Specialized Sequoia and a Specialized Expedition ........ any one of these and I would be a happy man. The Sequoia for sentimental reasons; the Voyageur or the Expedition would be equal choices in my mind, either would satisfy my needs. Best Regards to all three! Rod

That's pretty much my dream bike right there! I seriously think that finding myself a 58cm '84 Pro Tour in good condition would just about cure me of my N+1 disease! 
I'm working on a trade deal for one right now. The paint is a little more beat up than I would like, and at 56cm it's one size smaller than I would like, but it's nearly all original, and the components are all in great shape. The paint I think I can live with. I just hope I can work with the 56cm frame size... I'll be trading a nearly all original 1985 Mongoose ATB. It's a 19.5" frame in full chrome.

I hope the trade works out for you. I really like the '84 Pro Tour, I think it is a 60cm frame. The paint on mine has quite a few scratches, nothing serious, it looks fine from a short distance. I saw your ATB in the '85 only thread, looks like a fine machine.

Read the thread, lots of very nice bikes. This one not so vintage but I think the Kuwaharas are a bit under represented here, so this one is my 1990 Kuwahara Caravan. I think. Came to me with no model markings but pictures of the Caravan are the closest ones I've seen on the internet. The chain stays are not that long but it does have both rack and fender eyelets, mid fork eyelets, 2 spare spoke holder on the chainstay, three bottle mounts, and cantilever brakes. I removed the exo decal and the tange decal on the fork because I didn't want people to know what it was. I should have been more careful with it but I thought a few scratches would be a theft deterrent... If the exo decal on it was accurate then it is quad butted ishiwata. Was on craigslist for a while because of tiny cell phone picture. Yes, it is slightly on the big side for me but I don't think I want to give it up just yet.

1974 Raysport Turismo Gets A Makeover
I posted this bike here before in its first configuration. But the images were on Pee-Bucket, and I refused to pay the ransom.
So I've taken what I learned on last year's Lake Pepin 3-Speed Tour, and reconfigured my Raysport Turismo as more of a sport-touring bike. These are the only photos I have of it right now. All our roads are either icy or salty, depending on the day, so she won't see pavement until Spring; just in time for the next Lake Pepin tour.
I've removed the fenders so I could mount 700x32mm Paselas. She wore 28s before.
To prevent the dreaded skunk-stripe from happening when I ride through puddles, I've had Cody Davis at Woody's Fenders whip me up this spiffy custom rack deck. Should do the trick nicely.
I can't wait to ride this thing... c'mon Spring!

Received as a fixed gear, unused for many years, it is now once again a "French Touring Bike" as its former owner assumed it once was. A circa 1965 Dilecta Le Blanc rebuilt with all the French bits I could find in the area and reasonably priced. Still looking for a front rack and adding finishing touchs. More can be found here: 196? I’m not so sure I dig ghetto-ing up a fine bike like that- especially for one you might not end up keeping. But- it’s your bike.

Found a pic of my old Trek 710, built up into a touring rig. This pic is from about '83. Sold the bike a few years later with low miles; it had a wobble on descents and I did not trust it. Pretty bike, though. Most of the parts moved over to my Paramount frame.

Yup, good old truck, 1970, 350, original paint. I added variable ratio power steering, brake booster and R134 AC. Should out live me and anyone else that should want to take care of it. Well built things are like that!
