Normandy freewheel?

Some sort of French freewheel off a Gitane. What kind of tool do I need to get this thing off?

Has weird triangle shaped splines and a lot of them

I think Park sells one for the old Atom freewheels, and it looks like it would fit.

Bicycle Research made them and they were available through QBP until about a year ago. You might be able to find one at a LBS or perhaps ebay. It is not the Atom size.

Park makes the FR4 for Regina and Atom freehwheels, is that different than what I need?

No. Among other things, the Atom is a much larger diameter.

Does the Bicycle Research remover have a part number so I can search for it?

Edit: Seems to be a CT-3
Now I just have to find it. Any leadds?

I believe that is the same as the large diameter maillard freewheels, I don't know where to buy the tool though but I know a LBS that has one for when I do run across them.

My LBS had one, when I was looking for one. So I'd try local first so you don't have to ship anything.

+1, when I had to remove one I took the wheel to an LBS and the mechanic popped it right off, and said "I don't think I've ever used that remover before"...I tossed the toasted FW but kept the nice Normandy Luxe hubs/wheels.
