Chain Questions
I need a new chain for a 1980 Bianchi that uses a 5-sp freewheel and friction shifting. Can you tell me where I can find one or what size chain to look for?

a cheap Sedis will work fine. They are nice quality and were standard on bikes like yours, back in the day. They are also easy to work on- no special links, excessive flexibility- and wear quite well.

Also SRAM PC1 or PC10 are spaced for 10 to 14 speed bikes
(total gear i.e. 5 to 7 cog freewheel). Then there is always e-bay, I see alot of Regina Extra and America chains being listed (NOS that is). Marty |
Sedis and SRAM are the same thing now.

I like the SRAM PC-58, but anything but a "9-speed" or "10-speed" chain should work fine.
