Velo Rendezvous 7 this September

Do any other southern California based BFers plan to attend this year's Velo Rendezvous in Pasadena, 20-23 September?

http://velo-retro.com/vr.html

I hope to attend at least one or two days, to make sure the Capo marque is represented.

But its Southern California, its MASI-land.

Wow, now this is a tempting tempting idea. Wife has been looking for an excuse to go back to LA for a visit to her folks. But since I'm already taking several days off early August for a trip not sure if I can make it. I'll see what I might be able to arrange though!

I'd like to go just so I can walk up to Chuck and say: "Did you check THE ARCHIVES?!?"...I'm sure he'll crack up!

I went last year, just to the Sunday show. They're always themed shows, and I couldn't miss out on a Bianchi get-together. This time around it's Colnago, so if you're a fan, go.

But I live an hour away. If I'd made a vacation out of it, I'd have probably been a bit dissapointed. I just can't see buying plane tickets and getting a hotel and renting car, etc, etc. unless you're one of the truly devoted.

It is a fantastic group of people, though.

Nicest bunch of folks you'll ever meet. No matter what POS I show up on for the rides, they are always very nice to me.

InterBike is the next week, so I'll be mighty busy, but I will try to make it for at least a little while!

That's good to hear...I have a lot of "vintage" POS bikes.

Sounds like some fun rides and it's local, too...I'm there!
