Please help me with the age of my glider.

I came across a eaton's of canada glider the other day and decided it would be a fun project. I was wondering if anyone knew how to find out how old it is. The serial number is 2129865 and its a blue glider. Please ask for any other info that may be needed to help me put an age on this bike.
Thank you

I'm not sure what you mean by glider. A kick scooter? My bike shop guy has a couple of oooold adult-sized scooters, both with solid rubber wheels. They date from the '30's when his dad started the shop. We took 'em out once to see how they worked and they were fun...until you had to go up hill, and then...they were not so fun.

These have fixed height bars that are considerably higher that kid's scooters, and a square "center stand" mounted on the rear wheel. I don't remember if there were any brakes on the thing. You're right, this would make an excellent project!

Now for the standard refrain: 'hey! show us some pictures when you get a sec!'

Hello Shelby13, perhaps you could get us some photos? And, can you tell us what brand/make of components there are on the bike?

Welcome to Bike Forums !
