Bell for Raleigh 3 Speed?
Anyone here have a period- correct bell on their old English 3 speeds? If so what brands and types are there out there for them?
I do some trail riding on some of the crowded local trails and am wondering if a warning bell of sorts would be helpful to make myself known. I've heard of the Lucas King of the Road Bells, but it seems hard to find a good one. Are there others out there?

bump- any other takers with various options as to bells? what did those old lucas bells sound like? I've never found one in person. I'm looking for as close to the original stuff as I can get reasonably. Considering the options at the moment.

They've got the classic "Ring-a-Ling" chime. I'd love to find some with the old "Ding Dong" chime, but no luck so far.

Hmmm I think I had a Pyramid bell in the garage at one time- it had the odd habit where the hammer would strike into the slot between the top and bottom of the bell every so often.
At least there are some options out there- what is closest to the original sound? I'm shooting for something that replicates the original sound as close as possible. I've had a lot of trouble finding the originals in good shape.

Most bike shops have the mushroom or dome shaped "ring-ring" bells, but I couldn't fine one in chrome. I have one in black that looks good.
A while ago I went on Ebay and they had several vintage bells, inc some from the turn of the century.
