I just acquired a bike called a LAMER. It's a mixte frame with very intricate luggings. The rims are "Manal" and the hubs are "Ronic." It's a single-speed freewheel hub, which I am going to chamge to a Sturmey Archer 3-speed, and has 700 C rims. It has a working, open gear speedometer, which reads in miles, as well as a working generator and headlight. The bike has a plate from Mount Royal QC attached to the front forks, and the rear rack is an integral part of the frame. I think it may be from Europe, but have not been able to find anything about it. Anybody with info on origin of this beautiful machine would be greatly appreciated.

Hello MoonmanVT, I don't have any knowledge about your bike, but I am dying to see some photos . A mixte with intricate lugs is right up my alley...

Welcome to Bike Forums, too!

I just figured out (put on my reading glasses) that the brakes are "Altenburger Synchron", the bike is up on my stand right now and I'll try to get some pics this afternoon. I'm not sure how to post them though. I' a real newbie to forums.
