Wow, look at all that manufacturing and all the jobs that went with it. Man alive! Did you see the pretty young woman lacing the wheel? That was kind of charming too. I wonder where she is now. Let's see, if she was 22 in 1953, she would be... 76 years old or so. Hmm I bet it would be fun to talk with her and her colleagues about their career in bicycle manufacturing.

And I wonder what happened to the bikes depicted. Are they trash now, or did one manage to survive till the present?

What blew my mind was how easily the ladies were painting stripes on the fenders and frames. I guess when you do that hundreds of times every week it becomes easy.

This has been posted before, but thanks for bringing it out in the open. After being here for nigh on two years you see the same things get recycled and old faces start to fade into the background only coming out to sight more obscure tidbits that others are inquiring on. Still a very cool video that I am sure in another year or so will be posted and discussed again.
