which used bike
 

looking to get a bike off craigslist for the local commute:

Trek 330: 170MM Sugino VP cranks. Suntour Accushift Derailleurs. Suntours Index Shifting version. Dia Compe brakes & levers. Weinmann Rims with sealed bearing hubs. New tires and cables replaced.

Scwinn world sport (basically unridden), early 90s.

Bianchi Sport sx - 12speed, new tires. components?

all pretty much same price range. each in good condition any of these i should avoid, or is one particularly better than the rest?

Whatever fits you best.

While I'm not familiar with either the Trek or the Bianchi, by far your biggest consideration should be getting a bike that fits you. A $5,000 bicycle that doesn't fit is worth nothing to you.

The early nineties Schwinn World Sport is a nice, entry level bike with a True Temper chrome-Moly frame and a 14 speed indexed Shimano drive train.

I avoid bikes with Suntour indexed shifting because replacement parts can be difficult to find.

I'm not a big Schwinn fan, but I'd be leaning toward that World Sport if it fits.

If they all fit, I would go for the Bianchi. In my opinion nicer looking (and rarer) with quite a history behind them. Not that the others dont.
