which used bike
looking to get a bike off craigslist for the local commute:
Trek 330: 170MM Sugino VP cranks. Suntour Accushift Derailleurs. Suntours Index Shifting version. Dia Compe brakes & levers. Weinmann Rims with sealed bearing hubs. New tires and cables replaced. Scwinn world sport (basically unridden), early 90s. Bianchi Sport sx - 12speed, new tires. components? all pretty much same price range. each in good condition any of these i should avoid, or is one particularly better than the rest? Thanks for suggestions! |
Whatever fits you best.

Thanks for suggestions! The early nineties Schwinn World Sport is a nice, entry level bike with a True Temper chrome-Moly frame and a 14 speed indexed Shimano drive train. |
I avoid bikes with Suntour indexed shifting because replacement parts can be difficult to find.
I'm not a big Schwinn fan, but I'd be leaning toward that World Sport if it fits. |
If they all fit, I would go for the Bianchi. In my opinion nicer looking (and rarer) with quite a history behind them. Not that the others dont.
