The Sprite finally arrives

My first eBay purchase got here just before my sixth eBay bicycle purchase. Advertised as an early 60's bike, the serial number is 2783616. No letters.

Good news! I'll be painting this frame white.

Bad news! I'll probably make this into a singlespeed.

Those stem shifters must be six inches long. The rust on the handlebars seems a bit much; if I can't make them pretty then I'll get another set.

Anyone know a good place for Raleigh decals?

Looks more like a 70's vintage to me, with the front chainguard and the newer style Allvit derailleur.

All the rust looks like it can be cleaned up with an oxalic acid bath
