I appreciate a 'heads up' rather than looking at 'finds', which conjures up (to me) something already 'found'.
These are all bikes that may appeal to the collector part of us, and I, for one, like being given a push towards a (potentially) good deal that may have fallen through the cracks. Thanks for the 'Heads Up' Roadfan! |

I don't need another bike. Damn you for pointing them out. The local Trek looks good, in my watch list.

Don't worry, they will be waiting patiently for you return back to Michigan in the spring. I am watching that Trek as well. With Local pickup only it might go for a reasonable price. I probably won't bid with all of the stuff I have bought lately. Plus, I need to save some money if those OTHER two bikes come up for sale.
If any of you folks are looking for some nice racing vintage tubular and clincher rims, I'd ask redxj before he puts them on the bay. I think he can cut a deal on some NOS and take off vintage rims. I don't even want to tell you about the bike he just picked up, but I grabbed a few pictures when he wasn't looking: http://picasaweb.google.com/A2UsedBikes/Nobilette Supposedly one of the handful frames Mark Nobilette made using Nervex lugs, at least according to Mark himself: http://lh5.google.com/A2UsedBikes/Rx...0/PA171017.JPG |
