Anyone has the 1989 cromor/athena model that instead of red/white has a pink/white painting?

I bought this frameset recently off CL and decided to build up to check for fit. I believe itís a Ď91 SL/SP mix. The bottom bracket is stamped SP; however, the downtube decal is SL. It is a Team Spago replica. Unfortunately the paint is severely nicked up. Iíll ride it as-is until spring and then Iíll repaint, most likely red. I stripped the paint from the seat stays and nds chain stay to inspect the chrome finish. I found good chrome and was able to polish.

This thread doesn't get much attention! As stated, my Bott was cleaned up to a ridable condition and dressed in NR. I need to order decals but other than that it is back to work.

Traded my Miele for this, incomplete, and built it up for my son. Added A square taper bottom bracket to replace the cottered, and suntour front because the Valentino didnít want to work with the modern crank.

My '72 Professional as currently configured. It's my go-to for long distance CV rides, beautiful, reliable and comfy.

Wow. I have a white one that probably looked just like that at one point. If it still did, I might not be converting it to a 650b fixie!

Hehe, to be honest I thought this one was going to be like that when I saw it at a garage sale, chained to a beat up Gitane mixte and coated in filth. Looking like that probably deterred someone else from getting it before I did, but happily there was a truly nice bike hiding under that camouflage..

I have owned this 1989 Bottecchia SLX Professional since new. It is a sentimental favorite.

I started reassembly today after a fresh repaint. Reinstalling the head badge was stressful.

I guess I should get mine up here...

I've had it since the early 70's when I was in Jr. High, and gave it it's final rebuild a couple years ago. There's a thread around here someplace about the build. In the past it had a changing variety of mostly Japanese parts on it but now it's like I always dreamed it would be. All Campy, mostly Nuovo Record. After all these years and who knows how many miles I still love riding this one.

Beauty! One of my grail bikes in red and white. I had the chance to buy one previously owned by the Hincapie family, used by guests I was told. Missed out on that one.

Except for the Sun rims and 1051 shifters, this was a parts bin build. Thatís what I love about it.

I was able to take a short ride this morning. I had to tweak the high limit screw on the front derailleur after I dropped the chain. The ride reminds me of the Ciocc Des.84 I once had. This is going to be a fun ride.

Update: @hazetguy provided me with a beautiful set of 7400 hubs and Araya hoops to build the Botty wheelset.
@eom provided the stem/bar combo which is perfect for the 7400 brake levers i had stashed away for this day.

Id rather continue this thread than start a whole new one.

Well here it is 8 months later...a complete strip of parts and piece by piece it's finished. With the help of a few BF members providing parts I very much thank you. Also everyone here for the suggestions, input etc.

Check out the 89 Bottecchia Cromor with Dura Ace 7400/01 group

I got this one tonight, looks like it is the low end model , anyone know what year it is? Will the serial number tell the year. I have not found one on the net that is white with blue letters.

Based on previous bikeforums threads this one can be dated between 69-74...there was also the Bottecchia special that looked very similar to yours but with chromed forks, seat cluster and rear dropouts.

Ill keep searching the webs for a match and year pinpoint
