Metal Cowboy's One Million Bicycles

Anybody head about Metal Cowboy's One Million Bicycles?

The idea is to get one million people on bikes on one day, and for each person to donate one used or new bike to another person who isn't currently riding. I think it's a great idea for getting people on bikes, and for getting all those unused bicycles out of garages and into the hands of people who would ride if they had a bike....

But wait! Those garage gems are the same bikes we love to find and bring back to life. Many of us have more than one bike in our stables, I'm told.

So does anybody think this will have an impact on C&V collecting? Or will the one million bikes be tried briefly before being sold, resulting in a bonanza for C&V lovers?

Sounds like it could be a lot of fun, even though it is some silly hippy idea.
