I'm seein' a Q/R on that rear hub.

If only the mailbox had a quick release as well to avoid a felony.

Incidentally, what's keeping that thing balanced on the rear wheel? I think I see what looks like some kind of prop on the driveside dropout, but it's not clear.

Overtightened or welded cones?

Or some kind of retainers at the chainstays and seatstays?

Chuckk, you're gonna have to go back and look.

It's newly 'planted'...my guess is that the rim is sunk into a heavy base of concrete.

If that is my old crit bike that was stolen so many years ago then it is probably a sprint group and crank. Same size, same color... I can't say that I ever really missed it...after racing it for a couple of years I was probably about an inch shorter than when I started on it...it was that kinda stiff!

Is that a carbon-tubed Trek? That had better have cracks all over or something.

At least she put on a lock this time.

(I think the frame was cracked, so I can't imagine why that would be good)

But it HAS already been replaced!

I wonder if that's a federal crime or not, since there's a mailbox involved
