If only the mailbox had a quick release as well to avoid a felony.

Incidentally, what's keeping that thing balanced on the rear wheel? I think I see what looks like some kind of prop on the driveside dropout, but it's not clear.

It's newly 'planted'...my guess is that the rim is sunk into a heavy base of concrete.

If that is my old crit bike that was stolen so many years ago then it is probably a sprint group and crank. Same size, same color... I can't say that I ever really missed it...after racing it for a couple of years I was probably about an inch shorter than when I started on it...it was that kinda stiff!
