Awwww, what's the point if it doesn't have a trident on the headbadge?

Another SS! You are definitely going to turn into the Philly Hipster .

I don't know about everyone else, but I am having a hard time focusing on the components ....

looks like a decent quality bike, not for racing but for an avid cyclist. The pedal, cranks, front derailleur and stem (probably handlebars too) are all pretty nice pieces. I am not sure about that huret front derailleur but there are certain models of huret that are worth a baffling amount of money. I don't know much about Ballila but i think it can be valuable too. either you have a decent ride there.

I like that bike. You snagged it from Philly CL last week, right? I remember seeing at least one Maserati posted there. I probably would have bought that if it didn't go so fast! Nice job.

Well, I like it, and I would say that even without being threatened by that baseball bat standing ready by the door.

Say, if you aren't going to use those shifters could you please send them to me ?

That's a strange model name, by the way.

That bat has occupied that space for so long that I feel weird not seeing it there! Its like a peice of furniture! I have yet to figure out what Im going to do with this bike but if I should decide to go SS the shift levers are yours

If you replace the cranks in the process, I'm interested in those.

heh, well, thing is, I live in oregon now, and I left the maserati with my dad in Pennsylvania, because it goes well with his italian cars. So, I have no pics. Its silver with maserati decals on the down tube, campy nouvo record parts, cinelli seat, stem, bars.. its a very well made "racing" quality bike from the time.

good luck with yours, but I don't really recommend modifying it.

Can we get a few close ups of those shifters actually? They look... unusual.

I tried to get close up pics but I guess Im just not cut out to take pics? They come out blurry? I stay at least a foot away and use the auto focus...nothing I get up close and try again...nothing I take a pic from about three feet away and zoom in on the area of the pic I need....nothing with flash without flash doesnt matter. Sammyboy, nice little design you have there did you do that or did you find it on the net?

Near the bat I see a Dallas Cowboys sign. A Dallas fan in Philly?...
Perhaps he subconsciously feels the bat might one day be needed for self-defense.

Nah, my wifes the Cowboys fan, shes been one since before I met her and we've been together for 25 years! for self-defense I have a custom made Kimber Custom Carry II in 45 caliber, a Remington 12 gauge, a Dragonuv sniper rifle (legal) and a Paul Chen Samurai sword. I also have a good set of running shoes should all else fail!
